Mobile App Development

iOS and Android apps — cross-platform or native — from idea to the App Store and Play Store.

A mobile app lives or dies on how it feels in the hand, and on whether it actually ships. We build iOS and Android apps that are fast, reliable and genuinely nice to use — and we take them all the way to the App Store and Play Store, not just to a demo. For most products we build once with React Native or Flutter and ship to both platforms, which keeps cost and timelines down without the app feeling like a website in a wrapper. When a product needs the last ounce of performance or deep platform features, we build native — Swift on iOS, Kotlin on Android. Either way we handle the parts that make mobile hard: offline sync, push notifications, in-app payments and subscriptions, deep links, and the store review and release process. And because we're full-stack, the backend and APIs your app talks to come from the same team.

What we deliver

  • React Native apps
  • Flutter apps
  • Native iOS (Swift)
  • Native Android (Kotlin)
  • Offline sync
  • Push notifications
  • In-app payments
  • App Store & Play Store release

Problems we solve

  • A mobile idea with no clear route to launch
  • A web-only product losing its mobile users
  • An existing app that feels slow, dated or crashes

How we work

  1. Pick cross-platform or native for the right reasons
  2. Build the app and its backend as one team
  3. Own the store release, not just the code

How we approach Mobile App Development

We start by choosing the right approach for your product — React Native or Flutter when one codebase should serve both stores, native Swift/Kotlin when performance or platform depth demands it — and scope the first release so cost and timeline are fixed up front.

We build in visible weekly stages, handling the parts of mobile that trip teams up: offline behaviour and sync, push notifications, in-app purchases and subscriptions, deep links and permissions. The app talks to a backend we build on the same stack, so the whole product is coherent rather than stitched together.

We test on real devices, then manage the full App Store and Play Store submission — signing, metadata, review and release — and support the app afterwards with updates as the platforms and your product evolve. You own the code and the store listings.

Pricing. Mobile apps typically start around £6,000, depending on platforms and features. Every project is scoped and fixed up front, so you know the cost before we start.

Frequently asked questions

React Native, Flutter or native — which should we choose?

For most products cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) is the right call: one codebase, both stores, lower cost. We go native (Swift/Kotlin) when you need maximum performance, heavy device features or a platform-specific feel. We recommend based on your product, not our preference.

Do you publish to the App Store and Play Store for us?

Yes — we handle the whole release: signing, app metadata, screenshots, review submission and staged rollout. We can publish under your developer accounts and leave you fully in control.

Can the app work offline and send push notifications?

Yes. Offline-first storage and sync, and push notifications, are standard parts of our mobile work — along with in-app payments, subscriptions and deep links where you need them.

Can you build the backend the app needs too?

Yes — that's the advantage of a full-stack team. We build the APIs, database and auth your app depends on alongside the app itself, so the two are designed to fit.
